Evaporator size should not be decided by
the amount of
area available
behind the dash.
The size of the unit used should be based upon the amount of capacity needed to keep the car or
truck comfortable.
The performance of the evaporator can be enhanced by the following:
Insulating the vehicle completely from outside heat, including upper cowl section, firewall, headliner, door panels, inner kick panels, etc..
Seal all window and door openings as well as cowl vents with quality rubber seals. Slightly tinting the glass of the vehicle to reduce ultraviolet
rays from entering
the vehicle.
This will also preserve your interior for longer life as well.
